Value of Life -As Christians, we recognize that every person is created by God for a purpose and only God has the right to say when that life ends. While liberals say that that they care about the girl who is pregnant and want to help her, they simply want to get rid of the baby, so it won’t be a problem for society. They say that the girl has a right to take the life of her baby if it will inconvenience her, but once you state that, you open the door to allow other people to claim the right to kill someone who inconveniences them, whether it is an aging parent, a terminally ill family member, or simply someone that gets in their way on the freeway. In addition, every life is created with a purpose, and we should not allow any life to be wasted. God wants us to have life and that more abundantly so we should seek to help everyone to reach their full potential by helping them find God’s purpose for them and helping them achieve it.

personal notes
Ezekial 33:1-9 states that if a watchman sees the enemy coming and sounds the alarm, but the people do not heed it, they shall die in their sin and their blood shall be on their heads because they did not heed the warning. However, if the watchman sees the enemy coming but does not sound the alarm, then the people will die in their sin, but God will require their blood at the watchman’s hand. There are those today who seek to call evil good and call good evil. They seek to proclaim their evil openly and threaten and seek to silence those who try to expose them. If the pastors who are called to warn their people of danger are silent, their people will perish but God will require their blood at the pastor’s hand. This is a time when the watchmen cannot afford to be silent. Too much is at stake. There is soon coming a time in America when pastors may risk their lives proclaiming the truth, unless the they speak out while they still can. Some say that it will never happen here, but that is what they thought in Russia, China, Germany, and Cuba. That is the normal today in many places like Africa, India, and Pakistan, as well as Egypt, Iran, and Afghanistan. However, pastors can not do it alone. Every Christian who knows the truth must speak up as well. Not just when they vote, but in their everyday conversations.
Rosh Hosanna Sept-25-27, 2022 Study Course Video
Rosh Hosanna signals the beginning of the celebration of the Fall harvest which is the final harvest of the year. After the first day when good people are rewarded. The rest have ten days to repent. This parallels Revelation where the trumpet sounds, Jesus returns and collects His chosen people, and then begins the tribulation where the rest will have one final chance to repent before the close of the final harvest of the elect. This celebration has not been fulfilled but whenever it is, it will probably occur on Rosh Hosanna. Never-the-less, we need to be ready every day because we never know when we will pass out of this world into the next and seal our fate for eternity. Fourth Sunday of Kingdomtide-Sept 25
God’s Values vs Man’s values
Man looks at things from his own perspective, while God sees the whole picture. Man’s values are those that appear to benefit him and fail to realize the fact that what benefits others will ultimately benefit him. Without God, we are centered on getting things for us. If there are four people and one pie, man sees the benefit of getting the whole pie, but everyone can’t have the whole pie. There will be a struggle and only the strongest will get the pie. They all will only benefit if they divide the pie. God laid down His values in the Ten Commandments and throughout the Bible, to provide for the benefit of everyone, but they seem foolish to man. Why should we give in order to receive when all we have to do is take it. If we give, the other person may not give back, but if we take it, someone else will want to take it from us. We will only find peace and happiness as we understand the love of God and see things from His perspective. In the weeks ahead, I will be examining the various values and how God and man see them differently.
Schools-2-N
President Biden is pushing a massive student loan forgiveness program to buy student votes. It is only one more of his massive spending programs which are fueling inflation due to the massive influx of money flooding the economy. It is estimated to cost almost one trillion dollars. Such a massive expenditure is unfair to all those of us who paid for our educations. It took me ten years to pay off my student loans from college and ten years to pay off my loans from graduate school, but I did it because I felt that it was worth the cost. My wife went back and finished her college. and we paid off her loans as well. That has been the normal for those who chose to go to college in the past. It is also unfair to students and their parents who saved up for their education, and those young people who went into the Armed Services to cover the cost of their college. This doesn’t benefit those who need it most because many of those that needed it did not go to college because they could not afford it and didn’t want to get saddled with massive debts. It benefits those in the middle and upper class who could afford to go to college. In addition, college isn’t for everyone. Many choose jobs that don’t require college. Paying college debts is bad policy because it will lead many to go to college that don’t need it in anticipation of the government covering the cost. In addition, many won’t take their education seriously because they won’t have to sacrifice for it. I saw that while teaching in college. The students that got welfare payments to attend college often were more interested in getting credit for the course than in learning. They complained because half of their grade was based on their attendance, so they had to show up to get a good grade. In addition, government money pushes up the cost of college. It is simple supply and demand. Schools take advantage of the government funds. If colleges charge $1000 a semester and the government offers $1000 a semester, the schools will raise their rates to $2000 to get the government money. We saw that with Obamacare. In addition, the President does not have the authority to order the use of tax dollars to pay private debts because spending bills have to be passed by Congress.
9/11 remembered
There were very few references to 9/11 this year. Each year there are less. Many do not realize that Sept 11, 2001 was on Rosh Hosanna. It is a Jewish holiday celebrating God’s restoration of the earth. God will not allow the evil around us to continue forever. He is very patient, waiting as long as possible so that all who come to Him can be saved, but one day His patience will end and He will return to restore the earth to the former glory it had when He created it. Rosh Hosanna begins with the blowing of the trumpet warning of God’s judgement. The trumpets blew that morning as the Jews read the Scripture 2 Chronicles 7:14. (which reads, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” No one realized that terrorists were boarding planes to take out the twin towers and the Pentagon, but God knew and used it to issue a warning. While the terrorists were boarding the plane, trumpets were blowing all up and down the east coast. While there was a great outpouring of faith after 9/11, it was temporarily and since then, it has decreased and many have forgotten. One day Christ is coming back and if we aren’t ready, it will be too late. However, 3000 people woke up that morning expecting a day like any other day, but they died that day and their fate was sealed forever. Some will go to heaven and some will go to Hell. If Jesus comes or you die today, your fate will be sealed, you won’t get a second chance. Will you go to heaven or Hell? If God’s people obey the Scripture and turn back to God, He can still heal this land. The Jews had that choice when Christ came before. They rejected Him and faced over 1900 years of exile. What will America decide?
Gay Rights
Liberals are continuing to push their agenda in spite of overwhelming opposition to it. They are burying a provision to legalize same sex marriage in a spending bill to sneak it in without anyone noticing it. Spending bills are large bills and it is easy to hide things in it you don’t want people to notice and when the spending is needed, conservatives are afraid to vote against them because they have popular support. Contact your Congressman and ask them to support an amendment to remove it from the bill. It has no place in a spending bill. Since insurance companies, Social Security, and others allow special privileges for spouses. Revising the marriage code to include gays would add a lot of people in those privileges. Social Security is already stretched to the max and adding large numbers of “spouses” who could then receive Social Security benefits, even though many of them would not be paying into the system, would further drain the fund. The same thing would occur with insurance companies who would have to include large numbers of recipients who are high risk because of homosexual behavior. In addition, homosexual relationships are far more unstable than heterosexual ones. Most heterosexual individuals have one or two partners at most in their lifetime but homosexual individuals often have numerous partners over their lifetime. All of those partners could potentially be eligible for Social Security or insurance survivors benefits, drawing on payments made by one individual.
