President Biden has directed the federal bureaucracy to enable government employees to get around the State laws in States banning abortions by assisting them to travel to States that allow abortions. He is also pressuring State Medicaid providers to cover out of State abortions. That is a  open affront to the States. Medicaid is a State funded medical plan for welfare recipients in the State. Since it is State-funded, it is for the residents of that State. By pressuring them to cover abortions for non-residents, it is violating the laws governing the program. State residents should not have to pay for elective medical procedures for people from out of State and the federal government should not be telling the States how to run their programs. His intent is to enable residents of States that do not allow abortions to travel to States that allow abortions and still get their abortions paid for, so Planned Parenthood doesn’t lose money. If Planned Parenthood loses money, they will have less money to contribute to political campaigns for liberal politicians.

President Biden does not seem to care about laws or the American people. He cares only about getting his way and continuing the flow of money his party gets from Planned Parenthood. A number of States have banned abortions but President Biden wants to get around those laws by having the Veteran’s Hospitals do abortions in States where it is illegal. First, federal law prohibits Veteran’s Hospitals from doing abortions. Second, to use his power as President to undermine State laws and overturn the will of the people is an abuse of power. Since Planned Parenthood gets millions of dollars from the government in the form of Medicaid, and passes millions of those dollars on to the Democratic party in campaign funds, it is also a conflict of interest. Finally, there is nothing in the Constitution or the laws of the United States that exempts federal employees from obeying the laws of the States where they live and/or work. They would be violating State law by performing the abortions. As President, he seems to think that he can do whatever he wants and not be accountable to anyone and that is very dangerous. As President, he is not above  the law, and he doesn’t have the authority to order people to disobey the law. We need people in Congress who will hold  him accountable for his actions.

The liberal left is up to their old tactic of lies and misinformation to discredit conservatives. There is a case before the Supreme Court that is not being discussed for an important reason. Liberals want to make a move and are afraid of conservative opposition. A resident of a county run nursing home wasn’t getting the care he deserved so the family sued the nursing home to get him the care. The question is whether they have a right to sue. Federal law allows lawsuits when individual rights are being violated so under the law, the family has a right to sue. The nursing home is contesting it saying the family should not be allowed to sue. The media is saying that since conservatives are opposed to individual rights, as seen in striking down Roe vs Wade, the conservative court could abolish your right to sue the government when your rights are violated. That sounds logical but is all a total lie. Conservatives are fighting for individual rights. They are fighting for the right of the baby to live against those who seek to violate that right. The mother has no right to kill the baby just because she doesn’t want it. There is no such right in either the Bible or the Constitution. Liberals want to do away with the right to life for unborn babies, the elderly, the sick, the critically ill, and those with mental disturbances because they are (In liberal terms) “a burden on society”.  Obamacare spelled it out in clear terms. A government panel would be established to determine if care was economically worthwhile. If care was determined to be not economically worthwhile, the care would be denied, and the patient would left to suffer until death released them. To avoid undo economic hardship caused by a lingering death, they are pushing for laws to allow them to terminate the patient. The decision would be final and could not be overruled by the patient or their guardian. We are seeing this play out in Canada and Britain, as well as other European countries who are under liberal governments. We are starting to see this in the United States from a President and Congress who don’t care what the American people want, they are determined to force their will on the people through executive order or legislation. It is liberals who feel that they should decide and the individual has no right to decide for themselves so they will side with the nursing home in striking down the families right to sue. Liberals pose the real threat to individual liberties, not conservatives.

Though abortion may be legal, it still requires the mother’s consent. Pro-abortion advocates do everything possible to convince the mother she has no other choice and abortion is her only alternative, from withholding information on alternatives to convincing young girls not to tell their parents for fear that the parents might convince her not to have an abortion. They seek to defeat laws requiring the woman get information on abortion and possible complications, in spite of the fact that current laws in every State require such information be given in all medical procedures, and an abortion is definitely a medical procedure. You can not make informed consent without knowing the dangers involved. The greatest deception of all is convincing the woman that it is just a blob of tissue and not a baby. If the woman knew it was a baby, it would be a lot harder for her to abort it. Pro-life centers find that 86% of women who see an ultrasound of the baby choose to keep it. While abortion providers do an ultrasound to determine the baby’s age, they don’t allow the mother to see it for fear that she will decide not to have the abortion. Many crisis pregnancy centers now have ultrasound equipment to show the mother the child in her. Few women allow their baby to be aborted once they see it is a perfectly formed and active child.
