Problem pregnancies. Our society glorifies sex but does not warn girls about the dangers. Pro-abortion crisis pregnancy centers prey on such girls by promising protection against pregnancy but do not tell them that there is a high failure rate or about the multitude of sexually transmitted diseases that go with sex with multiple partners. They encourage frequent sex and profit from these girls by selling both the “protection” and “the solution to the problem” when the protection fails. As a result many girls and women find themselves pregnant and unable to care for a child. Christian crisis pregnancy centers have grown up in most cities and many larger towns to help girls caught by unwanted pregnancy. Volunteer counselors are needed to let these girls know that someone cares and is there to help them, as well as to educate them on preventing unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases in the future. Liberal legislators have included additional funding for abortions in every spending bill they have initiated and are now pushing a spending bill to include $350 million in taxpayer funds to transport women to States allowing abortion and expand abortion facilities in those States in order to bypass State laws banning abortions. It allocates $10 million to create a position to promote unsupervised at home abortions, and requires Title X recipients to provide abortion drugs, counseling, and referrals in violation of federal law which prohibits federal spending for abortion. This in addition to the Rights to Contraception Act HR 8373 recently passed by the House of Representatives which adds more funding to abortion providers under the disguise of increasing access to contraception. While Republicans support more access to safe and effective contraceptives, the bill would open access to any contraceptives including those that have not been approved by the FDA. It would also funnel taxpayer funds to abortion providers in addition to the current $1.8 billion provided in 2020 in violation of federal law banning funds to abortion providers. While it claims that abortion should receive funding because it is women’s health care, abortion providers provide little if any health care beyond abortions, and the bill would bar federal funds from life-affirming centers that provide a large portion of women’s health care. It would also override State and federal laws protecting freedom of conscience for health care providers and Christian organizations and force them to provide contraceptives and sterilizations, including to minors, and would block States from canceling funding for Planned Parenthood. In essence, it strips voters of any say in the abortion debate and forces them to pay for abortions even if they are totally against it. In addition, it denies funding to centers that actually do provide women’s health care. It is important to elect representatives that will remove the government from abortion funding and return the freedom to choose to the individual. When abortion supporters say “my body, my choice”, taxpayers should say “My money, my choice”.  We should not have to fund things that are immoral, illegal, and opposed by a majority of Americans, including not only those who oppose abortion, it includes many who support abortion who feel they should not have to pay for someone else’s abortion.

Many people are crying about what they can do so they don’t have children now that they can’t have abortions in many States. They are trying to come up with all kinds of solutions like go to States where they can get an abortion, or get the medicine to do it secretly by mail. However, a growing number of women are going back to solutions that have worked for centuries. They are refraining from sex which is 100 % effective. If they are married and want a temporary solution, they can use a contraceptive that prevents release of an egg, as opposed to those that kill the embryo once the egg is fertilized.  It is subject to some failure which may cause a change of plans, but since they are married, it will not be tragic. If they aren’t married, they shouldn’t be having sex in the first place.  If they want a permanent solution, due to a medical condition or an aversion to kids, they can always get sterilization. It’s easier and safer for the man, but either one will do.  Innocent children should not have to die so people can have their fun and not have to worry about the consequences.  You will see rates of incest and rape drop as people finally begin to realize they may have to pay for their sins.  Women will refuse to have sex for fear of pregnancy like they once did and men will refrain from sex for fear of having to pay the consequences in jail, in the breakup of their marriage, and/or the payment of child support for 18 years. It will also help to enforce laws that require men who father children out of wedlock to support those children until they are 18. Things will not return to levels before 1973 because too many people have become addicted to having sex without worrying about the consequences. While liberals will claim that it is the fault of those who abolished abortion, it is really the fault of those who engineered Roe vs Wade and promised people that they could enjoy sex without having to worry about the consequences. If all else fails, there is still the possibility of adoption. There are far more couples wanting kids than there are kids available since abortion has caused many women to be unable to conceive or if they conceive, they are unable to carry the babies to full term. It is sad to see all the publicity about the 10-year-old girl from Ohio that had to go to Indiana to get an abortion. While the rape is a tragedy, it is surprising that someone notified the media before the authorities were notified. Pro-life groups originally thought it was a hoax since no legal authorities had been notified yet. It is being played up by the media to gain sympathy for abortions. It is estimated, because records are doctored, that up to one out of five abortions are done on minors. Most abortionists don’t notify authorities. Minors are usually told not to tell their age because if they do, the abortion clinic is required by law to report it to child protective services and the child’s parents, which they don’t want to do because it might delay or cancel the abortion. With a minor, it is a crime, either rape or incest, since a child cannot give consent. As a minor, her parents may have insurance to cover it, but the parents might cancel the abortion when they find out. It is easier to list her as an adult who has no financial resources of her own, and bill Medicaid. As a result, you and I are paying for it and Medicaid is being defrauded of millions of dollars for abortions that insurance or the parents could cover. The girl is usually given an abortion and returned to whoever brought her in. In cases of incest or in sex trafficking, it is often the person sexually abusing her. No police report is filed, and the rape or incest often continues.  One girl said that she had three pregnancies by her father, before she was 18. Since the baby is aborted and the remains are usually destroyed, there is no evidence, and the rapist is rarely prosecuted.

Liberals are continuing to show that they have no respect for life. Since Roe vs Wade has fallen, liberals are seeking to enact a law in Congress to make abortion a permanent right by declaring that unborn babies are not people and not entitled to protection under the law, just as they passed a law declaring that Black slaves were not people and not entitled to protection under the law. They are also showing they have no respect for law. Such a law would violate the Constitution’s guarantee of the right to life to everyone. Since science now shows us that it is in fact a person from the beginning, it has protection under the Constitution. They are also seeking to overturn State laws that protect life. Those laws are lawfully enacted by the States and the federal government has no right to overturn them, either in the courts or in Congress, as long as they don’t violate the federal or State Constitutions.  For those seeking to know more about the Biblical view of the value of life, see my course on “The Value of Life” on Udemy.
