I find it interesting how far Democrats are willing to go to get their way. They are willing to alienate the military personnel and federal workers who won’t get paid during the shutdown. Those workers have always been the Democrats biggest supporters. They are also willing to alienate those getting federal benefits who they pressured into voting for them by telling them that Republicans would cut their benefits if they got in power in order to retain their votes. They are now willing to throw away that support by refusing to approve the budget just to get the subsidies to insurance companies extended. Democrats thought they could win in 2016 by smearing Donald Trump with false accusations but underestimated voter rejection of Obama’s policies They were able to win in 2020 amid widespread evidence of voter irregularities but they never allowed the irregularities to be investigated and redid the 2020 Census to allow millions of illegal immigrants to be counted. It switched eight seats in the House from conservative States to liberal States but voters so rejected Biden’s policies that it wasn’t enough to win control of the House. They thought they could win in 2024 with a bait and switch play pushing Biden then suddenly switching to Harris. They knew long before the election that Biden was not capable of serving another term, but hid it from voters. However Biden was able to get the needed electoral votes to win the nomination because his name was the only name allowed on the Democrat primary ballot in many States. When he dropped out, Harris was nominated even though she was never on any ballots and received no votes, completely cutting Democrat voters out of the primary election. Yet they still thought they could get enough votes to win. But again they underestimated the American voters. Now they are alienating their three most powerful support groups to benefit insurance companies but it will not benefit consumers. Yet they feel thy can still win the 2028 election. They are either very stupid or very sure they can rig the 2028 election so they will win it.

Democrats continue to blame Republicans for not giving in and passing the budget, yet they have rejected every proposal Republicans have offered. In the past they have been able to force Republicans to give in to massive new spending by holding the budget captive and blaming the Republicans for not giving in, but the Republicans are tired of taking the blame for the shutdown by trying to limit spending. Republicans have offered several bills to limit the suffering of federal workers, Air Traffic controllers, military personnel and those receiving federal assistance by providing temporary funds to provide them with paychecks until the budget can be settled but Democrats have continually rejected them because it would destroy the leverage they have to get a continuation of the Obamacare subsidies. The subsidies were to help insurance companies during the pandemic because members could not pay premiums but the pandemic is over. There is no need to continue it.  It went to the insurance companies and did not include any requirement to reduce member premiums. In fact, the companies piled up big profits and paid big dividends to stockholders but did not give members any break. It did not help families struggling to pay the cost of insurance which insurance companies inflated once Obamacare passed. Most members saw their premiums double on the day Obamacare took effect. Its main advantage seems to be in swaying public opinion because the media is not reporting on resistance by Democrats but continues to blame Republicans and that is all the public is hearing. It also benefits Democrats who are receiving campaign funds from the insurance companies.

Democrats have been crying about how President Trump has refused to release the Epstein files implying that he doesn’t want to because it would incriminate him and destroy his support. That is interesting because if his name was on the list as they imply, they would not have had to spend five years creating fake charges against him to discredit him and impeached him twice, once without formally charging him with any crime, and a second time despite all the evidence pointing at the Democrat leadership who refused to allow President Trump to call out the national guard to protect the Capital building and evidence that the CIA was involved with agents dressed as Trump supporters. They now claim that Republicans have scrubbed the list to remove any Republicans. If there were Republicans on the list, they would have been actively prosecuting them during the four years that President Biden was in office and if the list didn’t include a number of top Democrats, they would not have fought so hard to prevent it from becoming public while President Biden was in office. President Trump said he did not want to press the issue since there were so many other pressing issues and that makes sense. It would tie up resources needed to investigate real crimes like Democrats who have made millions of dollars while in office on a $400,000 salary through illegal inside trading, Hillary Clintons abandoning American embassy personnel allowing them to be killed rather than allow it to become known that the terrorists were using rockets sold to them by President Obama, Hillary Clinton selling American uranium to Russia to help them bolster their nuclear arsenal, her involvement in the Russian hoax claiming Donald Trump was dealing with the Russians to influence the election, so Trump would not be elected, and covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story to prevent it from influencing the election and hurting his father’s chances of winning the election. There are more continuing to be revealed. Congress has finally pushed through legislation forcing the FBI to turn over their files and President Trump has agreed to sign it. It will be interesting to see what happens when the list is published and a number of top Democrats are exposed.
