CHARACTERISTICS OF TRUE REVIVAL
In the last days, God says I will pour out my spirit on all people.your sons and daughters will prophesy.your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams . Acts. 2:17
People need a REVIVAL they regularly need their spirits revived and energized with the Spirit of God. Acts 3:19. Calls these ” TIMES OF REFRESHING” from the presnce of the lord. True revival comes when people get serious with God. John Wesley once said ” Give me one hundred men who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God and I will shake the world” THERE IS A POWER IN TRUE REVIVAL. Consider what must happen before revival.
1. There must be a deep HUNGER FOR GOD like when you were first saved ( see psalm 63:1,2.
2. There must be a FRESH VISION of Christ ( Ephesians 1:17)
3, there must be a deep CONVICTION OF SIN ( isaiah 6:5)
4, there must be a NEW COMMITMENT to the cause of Christ ( isaiah 6:8)
5. There must be a LOVE FOR LOST humanity and shedding of selfish ness ( 11cor 5:20)
6. There must be a restoration of the JOY AND PRAISE . II cor 15:14,15)
7.there must be a new level of FAITH ( Romans 4:20,21.
PRAY: GIVE ME A HUNGER FOR REVIVAL.
