While liberals have criticized Christianity for its treatment of women, they ignore the fact that Christianity values women and motherhood far above most other religions. Most cultures and religions range from ignoring the value of women to enslaving them. Most of the benefits women enjoy are the result of Judaism and Christianity. Though men oversaw the business of the church, the women oversaw the needs of the community. They served formally and informally as teachers, nurses, and Social service workers caring for the needy in the community. Most of those who mistreat and devalue women in our society have nothing to do with the Christian faith. The wife-beaters and the pimps are not only outside the church but are strongly condemned by the church. While liberal women claim that society views women as sex objects, our society as a whole, due to the influence of Christianity, condemned such a view. It is the liberal influence which has resulted in the increasing view of women as sex objects in our society. Liberal women, true to the liberal philosophy ignored the facts and used such arguments to open the door to allow women to use themselves as sex objects to attract men and have opened the doors to the widespread exploitation of women we see today. As a result, it has been increasingly difficult to enforce laws protecting women from rape and children from incest. (See “Truly In The World, But Not Of It-part-A” under “”Women’s Liberation And Women’s Rights” by Lulu Press) While they claim that they are pushing for the liberation of women, they have broken down the laws protecting women, which their mothers and grandmothers fought so hard for.

We are faced with an attack on women like never before. Our country was founded by people who believed that a man protected his wife and she worked right along side him. Men did not dominate women but worked with them to build America. While women weren’t allowed to vote or actively participate in government affairs, they were highly respected. Perhaps men felt they were protecting women or they were protecting the family, but women weren’t looked down on generally. Some men dominated women and abused them but it does not seem to be a general practice. Men that abused women or mistreated them often quickly found themselves put in their place by other men who did not tolerate that. Women were active in civic work and charity work as well as working to improve their communities, as well as taking care of their children and helping care for both sets of parents as they got older. Mothers trained their children for taking their place in society while their husbands worked or they worked alongside their husbands on the farm or in a family business. The liberal philosophy has actually degraded  the place of women by demonizing staying home to raise kids and traditional women’s occupations like nursing and childcare. It has demonized women in general and forced them to be like men, causing them to be ashamed of their natural desires and feelings. It has demonized men and turned women against them and wonders why they don’t get along. They have destroyed the family and disrupted the normal training of children so many children are reaching adulthood while still thinking like children and our society has paid dearly for it. Society expects the school to train up children like the family did but it doesn’t work because the kids don’t have any consistent example. Society now says that a single man or single woman, or two men or two women can teach a child what they need to know to be a boy or girl and how to relate to the opposite sex when the children never see it demonstrated. Society expects a boy or girl to grown up to be well adjusted while it confuses kids so they can’t even figure out if they are a boy or a girl. The current trend is not seeking to build a better future like they claim, they are seeking to destroy civilization so they can seize control.

Apportionments for the House of Representatives is based on the total resident population of the fifty States.  The total number of representatives has been set at 441. 435 from the 50 States and one from the District of Columbia and each of the five US territories. It is reapportioned after every Census count to ensure everyone’s vote is equal Liberals claim the illegal immigrants should be counted because they are losing population as residents flee the State and they are replacing them with illegal immigrants to maintain their representation in the House. Conservatives feel that it unfairly gives Congressional seats to liberal States and deprives legal voters of representation since the immigrants are not here legally. Since the delegates are apportioned by population to give equal voting power to everyone, counting illegal immigrants, who can’t vote,  in apportioning seats, gives voters in liberal States more voting power than conservative States. If a representative is assigned to every one million people, and all people are counted, a conservative State with one million legal residents and no illegal residents gets one representative representing one million voters but a liberal State with one million legal residents and one million illegal immigrants totaling two million people gets two representatives, one that represents the one million voters, and one that represents the one million illegal immigrants, who can’t legally vote.

The members of the House of Representatives are reapportioned after each Census to ensure that each Representative represents approximately an equal number of voters.  Since illegal immigrants cannot vote legally, it was felt they should not be included in the Census. Liberals claim that the Founding Fathers wanted everyone counted, not just voters and refer to the 1787 Compromise where they allowed slaves to be counted as three fifths for the Census. The Continental Congress was debating the apportionment of taxes for each State which was determined by population. The Northern States wanted the slaves counted as part of the population so the Southern States would pay their fair share but the Southern States didn’t want them counted in order to reduce their taxes. They finally reached a compromise where the slaves would be counted as three fifths of a person. Indians were excluded from the count until 1860 when those living off the reservations were counted and in 1900, they began counting Indians on the reservations. The Census was also used to determine seats in the House of Representatives and the electoral college. The Census counted every resident except foreign nationals visiting or temporarily working in the United States.  The fact that they did not count foreign nationals temporarily working in the United States indicated they were only counting legal residents, and not counting those who were not legally residents. Since illegal immigrants are not American citizens, they are still citizens of their home country. The 14th Amendment conferred citizenship on all residents born in the United States or naturalized. Liberals claim that nothing in the Constitution precludes counting non-citizens in the Census, however since illegal immigrants are not born here or naturalized, they are not covered by the 14th Amendment and are not counted as citizens until they become naturized citizens.

 

 

 

 

 
 

Sanctity of Life-GD-E

God has set before us life and death and asks us to choose life. We face a clash of two values today. One is the Christian view that America was founded on. The Declaration of Independence declares that  it is self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. It declares that the right to life is given by God and no man has the right to take it. It does not state that it is given to you when you reach age 18 or even at birth, it declares that it is given to you. It does not say you lose it when you become critically ill or critically injured or when you reach retirement. It states that God gave it and does not include any provision that gives man the right to take it. It states that the government is institutes to secure that right for the citizens of this country and not to subsidize those who would take a life. However today there is a new view growing that our happiness is more important than life. They use it to justify abortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide if that person’s life will deprive others of happiness. When a politician promises to make you healthy, wealthy, and wise, but supports abortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide, he is echoing the words of Satan to Eve. He urged her to take the fruit and it would make her wise like God and told her she would not die. Liberal politicians today say they will provide for all your needs and then quietly slip provisions into the law allowing abortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide so they can eliminate unwanted babies and those who are critically ill, critically injured, elderly, or simply depressed who are not producing wealth which they feel they are a drain on society.

Violence and Social Strife-2-AM

There are two basic concepts of the rule of law today which are competing for dominance. There are those who support traditional views and believe that we need a police force to maintain order, support the right to own guns to protect themselves since the police cannot be everywhere at once, and the need to protect our borders from those who do not share our values and want to impose their values on us. They also believe in a just rule of law that applies equally to everyone and that there should be strong penalties to deter criminals from breaking the law. However, there is a growing belief in America that the violence we see is caused by the fact there are too many guns easily available and people should not be allowed to own guns. They also believe that our police force is racist and should be withdrawn from Black areas, though they don’t say how they will maintain order without a police force or how the average citizen can protect themselves from criminals if they don’t have guns or a police force. The fact is that hundreds more Blacks are killed by other Blacks than by police. Cutting police department budgets to force them to withdraw from Black areas has resulted in criminals taking over those areas resulting in more attacks against Blacks by other Blacks. They also believe that justice should be administered by the courts based on the judge’s prejudices. They feel that criminals are less likely to commit more crimes if you are lenient and aren’t too hard on them and that harsh penalties drive criminals to retaliate against society. However it has been shown that criminals don’t commit as many crimes in areas with strong penalties and commit more crimes in areas where they know they will not get a harsh sentence. A few days in jail or none at all are a small price to pay for what they get from the crimes.

Voters today often vote for the man and what he promises to give them and ignore the issues that effect their everyday lives. One of those issues is the issue of law and order. There are three views towards law and order that candidates are pushing today. The first two assume that law and order is necessary for the preservation of an orderly society. The first and traditional American view is that our rights are given by God and He has given us laws that benefit everyone. Our Constitution included those rights and our government was designed in such a way that there were checks and balances to prevent the government from violating those rights. The most important right is the right to elect officials and replace them if they don’t represent the views that the voters support. They founded the Republican party and fought to abolish slavery and fight for the rights of minorities and women, particularly the right to vote. The second is a growing belief that feels that either God doesn’t exist or that He is not involved in our everyday life but feel those values are common sense and should be respected. They respect the Constitution but see it as a man-made document subject to change as circumstances change. They are easily swayed by media rhetoric and deceitful politicians who pretend to support those values but work to undermine them. They tend to switch parties based on their impression of the persons running for office. The third involves those who seek to control others for their own benefit and a growing number of supporters who believe that the leaders are smarter than the average person and know what is best for everyone, whether the people agree or not. It grew out of the Southern aristocrats who supported the subjection of Black slaves and poor Whites who they felt were unable to govern themselves. They founded the Democrat party to protect slavery and maintain their control. While they proclaim to care about the average person and make big public displays of helping people, their actions often do more harm then good.
