Liberal politicians complained that President Trump challenged the election results when they did the same thing in the 2000 election. The difference is that the liberals not only demanded a recount, which they were entitled to, but they continued to demand a second and third recount hoping it would change the results in their favor, until the courts finally stopped the nonsense. President Trump only requested that accusations of violations of the law be investigated. Election officials can’t just change the law because they feel it will give them the advantage. When the law says ballots have to be in by a certain date, any that come in after that are not legal. When election officials bar poll watchers from watching the counting, which they are required to do by law, and when a huge number of ballots show up in the middle of the night, after the counting is officially over and the poll watchers have left, it would indicate to a thinking person that someone is up to no good and doesn’t want to be caught. When people voted for Trump and their receipt showed they voted for Joe Biden, it indicates serious problems with the voting machines. When election officials refuse to remove the names of those who have died or moved out of State from the voting rolls, one has to wonder why. These are serious allegations and need to be investigated. To ignore them and not investigate would undermine the confidence we have that our elections are honest and fair.
