We often hear about the Council on Foreign Relations and I always assumed it was a group within our State dept. Especially after Hillary Clinton stated that they directed her on decisions relating to foreign affairs. However, I was shocked to learn that it is really a group of business, financial, and government officials who advise American and world leaders on foreign relations. Their website states that they provide forums and information on important topics of foreign relations to business and government leaders as well as to State and local governments, journalists, and students. It is scary to think that they have such far-flung influence over governments and journalists around the world and that Hillary Clinton, as the head of our State dept. was making decisions based on information from an unelected group outside our government. Judging from the decisions she made while Secretary of State, they are heavily interested in the establishment of one world government and their members include some Republicans as well as many Democrats. It explains why she ordered American security forces to stand down and not go to the defense of our embassy when it was under attack. She would rather sacrifice American personnel than to offend an Arab government. It also explains why she and President Obama continually assured the American people that it was only a peaceful demonstration that got out of hand rather than admit that it was a planned military assault on an American embassy. The assault was made with military grade weapons they brought with them and not with stones and bottles they picked up off the street.

Democrats are continuing to claim that China is trying to influence our elections and trying to get us to believe that Donald Trump is behind it. The media continues to rehash that argument. It is a replay of the old argument in 2016 that Trump was working with the Russians to subvert the election. It is the old story of “if you say something often enough and long enough, people will begin to believe it”. Those who follow politics, which unfortunately is not a lot of people these days, know that it doesn’t make sense. Russia would not try to get Trump elected in 2016 because Hillary Clinton was feeding them benefits. As Secretary of State she arranged for the sale of a large amount of American uranium to Russia for their nuclear program. We don’t know what else she was doing because she used her private unsecure server instead of a secure government computer which the Russians and Chinese could have easily hacked and then had all the computers and phones destroyed when she left office to prevent an investigation. It was later discovered that she was behind the fake Russian accusations to discredit Trump in order to help her win the election. Biden is supporting the Ukraine against Russia only because the Bidens have more financial interest in the Ukraine than in Russia. Now they are warning that Trump is working with the Chinese to win the 2024 election. Yet Biden, Clinton, and other top Democrats are pushing socialism in the United States and have large financial holdings in Chinese companies and have pushed trade benefits for China for their own benefit. Tik Tok is owned by China and monitored by it and many American phones are made in China enabling them to monitor them. In addition, China pours a great deal of money into American universities and have propaganda organizations on many American university campuses pushing socialism. Why would Republicans want to support China? Democrats are the ones who would benefit the most from Chinese interference and China would not want to promote a Republican president that would undermine their influence in America.

While the Biden administration took a long time before they acknowledged the massive devastation of hurricane Helene, they finally got around to surveying the damage, however they continue to drag their feet on providing help. FEMA claims it is out of money due to helping illegal immigrants and when Musk set up a satellite link to help victims of the hurricane who were without cell phone use due to the cell towers being destroyed, the FCC canceled the program leaving many people still stranded without food, water, or electricity and no way to call for help. It seems like they do not want to help and are frustrating attempts by others who are trying to help. That is a bad way to treat people, especially coming up to an election.

President Obama directed the hiring of large numbers of new employees in the justice dept. who were loyal to him, just before leaving office knowing President Trump could not remove them because they were under civil service. By selecting them on the basis of party affiliation, he was in violation of civil service rules that require all hiring be done on merit rather than on party affiliation. Many of them were used to investigate President Trump and others in his cabinet throughout his presidency in spite of a lack of evidence of wrong-doing, for the purpose of finding something they could exploit for political gain and to turn his voter base against him preventing him from being reelected. When President Trump tried to remove the heads of several agencies who did not agree with his policies, the liberals yelled that he was doing it for political purposes. He was prevented from removing several of them who continued to act in direct defiance of his directives. It was obviously to discredit him and was done to deceive the voters into thinking he was doing something wrong, even though the President appoints them and would normally appoint people who will work with him, not against him. Congress enacts laws and the agencies are the ones that carry them out. The agency heads are the ones that direct the day to day operations of the agencies and design the rules and regulations that form the operating format for the laws enacted by Congress. Therefore, it is important for the President to appoint agency heads that will carry out the policies the people have elected him to carry out. When the people elect a President, they are saying that they agree with his policies and so the people who head the various agencies should agree with him or they will be carrying out policies that go against his policies and as a result, go against the will of the people. The people would not have voted out the previous President if they wanted his policies to continue. When the President is prevented from appointing the agency heads, it allows the deep-state in the agencies  to operate without any oversight by the people elected by the voters. Now President Biden is doubling the number of agents in the IRS. They will be under civil service and can’t be removed by the next President. This is very disturbing in view of the IRS actions in 2016 when the IRS investigated conservate organizations and threatened to remove tax exempt status from churches who questioned liberal policies. They also held up the tax exempt status of conservative organizations who applied.
