Christian values are learned as members follow the example of those in positions of leadership. The principles can not be simply taught in classes, they must be demonstrated in everything the church does. As the leadership practices these principles, those in the congregation will see the benefit of them and want to follow their example. As they learn to practice them in the day to day life of the church, they will begin to practice them in their everyday life. As they practice them in their everyday life, unbelievers who observe them will see the value of the principles and desire them. As the leaders have become corrupt and follow liberal values, they teach them from the pulpit, or simply don’t teach them and members get their values from the world. As a result, unbelievers are no longer attracted to the church because they see no difference between them and others. If the pastors do not teach how to walk the Christian life, members will need to search the Scriptures and seek God’s will for them. God says if we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways, and seek His face, He will hear from heaven and will heal our land. I created the courses on basic Christian beliefs and on Christian values to help guide believers and defend their faith against liberal criticism.
