Social Work-B

I am often amazed at how many people, even Christians, believe that the government can save this country and the world.  The Bible tells us that we should be always vigilant because Satan prowls around like a roaring lion seeking who he will devour (I Peter 5:8) and that there will arise false prophets who will do many great things so that they might deceive even the elect if possible (Matt. 24:24). Many people believe politicians who tell them that the government can solve our problems, yet the Government hands out money based on eligibility so it is merely a matter of reducing one’s income to meet the requirement. Three generations have grown up getting welfare to sustain them.  Our society tells people they can get something for nothing and wonders why they don’t want to work.
