President Obama went wild passing legislation disguised as executive orders. The Constitution does not give him that authority. Only Congress can pass laws. Many of them violated the Constitution and laws passed by Congress as well. His orders on abortion violated the right to life, his orders on gun control violated the right to bear arms, and his orders to the IRS and the Dept of Human Services to suppress religious organizations violated their right to freedom of religion, all of which are protected by the Constitution. His orders requiring insurance companies to pay for abortions violated the law passed by Congress authorizing Obamacare which banned insurance companies from including provisions for abortion. The media screamed that President Trump had no right to remove those executive orders but since his orders did not violate the Constitution or any act of Congress, he had the right. Presidents have the right to change the policies of previous presidents, especially if the previous policies violate the Constitution and laws passed by Congress. Now President Biden is issuing new executive orders that are just as illegal as those issued by President Obama, yet the media is silent. The American people need to press their State legislatures to refuse to obey President Biden’s executive orders that violate the Constitution. They also need to elect Congressmen in 2022 that will put an end to the lawlessness in the executive branch and elect a President in 2024 that will work to restore the Constitution as the law of the land, as President Trump did.
