For most older people, social media is a mysterious and confusing jungle. While some enter it timidly, many ignore it altogether. Even though they don’t actively participate in social media, many often go online to get information. For the younger generation, it is a vital part of life. Many don’t realize the part it plays in our everyday life and its potential. Many insiders believe that Obama won the presidency in 2008 because of the social media blitz by Obama’s campaign headquarters which mobilized large numbers of young people. Many people now check a church’s website before visiting the church. Not only do they check for service times but also for information about the church. They often check out what types of activities and programs the church offers.
